Creating An Efficient Verification Environment using Synopsy

VerificaTIon environment is for no doubt most complex environment in ASIC Frontend Design process. It maintains the most complex database (design, verificaTIon environment, test cases) and organizes numerous project members around it. Efficient verificaTIon environment organizaTIon plays the key role in the whole verification process. The following article describes the concepts and implementation techniques of verification environment we created and successfully tested during the whole project cycle. Synopsys VCS and Vera tools usage was very helpful achieving the goals we targeted.
