This book is not an instruction booklet for how to build a Model X 3D printer. If we were to do that, then the book would be obsolete before it were published. Even as I write this now that the book is finished, a few changes in the available models of 3D printers are already underway. Instead, we will assume that once you make yo ur 3D printer purchase you’ll be able to figure out how to put it together and get started. We will pick up again at that point, guiding you along the way of breaking in the new printer and making new things with it. The 3D printer enthusiasts are an amazingly active community of makers who go out of their way to share information with the world.
