This document provides different tools and techniques useful for debugging audio issues encountered in Linux-based systems. The document is mostly focused on the Android operating system, but some of the techniques are also applicable to Linux systems. The focus of the techniques presented in this document is the multichannel audio serial port (McASP), which is the audio peripheral in the DRA7xxx Infotainment Application Processor family.
