This document contains a detailed description of the usage and configuration of the VSRS (View Synthesis Reference Software) for the 3D Video (3DV) and Free viewpoint TeleVision (FTV) project of the 3D Video Coding Team of the ISO/IEC Moving Pictures Experts Group (MPEG). The name of version 1 of this software was View Synthesis software.
