The Software Component Template defines a generic mechanism for describing modes in AUTOSAR. Modes are defined via ModeDeclarations. A ModeDeclaration represents a possible assignment of the current state of a global variable. E.g in ECU state management there may exist the ModeDeclarations STARTUP,
