The principle of error vector magnitude (EVM) against modulator nonlinearity for vector modulation signal (VMS) transmission in radio-over-fiber (RoF) systems is theoretically and experimentally investigated. A highly linear modulation scheme is proposed and demonstrated using a single-drive dual pa
