Research on the High Rydberg States of Strontium by Using Narrow Band Dye Laser

A novel experimental technique based on faraday rotation method, which consists of synchronizing pulsed bitter coil magnet with tunable dye laser, is developed for measurement of high Rydbery members. With this technique we have measured f-values for Sr from n=25 to 43 with high accuracy.
