overanyIPnetwork.Systemscancommunicatewith
eachotherusingSNMPtotransfercontrolandstatus
information,creatingatrulydistributedsystem.
SNMPisusedinavarietyofapplicationswhereremote
monitoringandcontrollingofthenetworknodeis
desired,suchasanetworkprinter,onlineUninterrupted
PowerSupply(UPS),securitycameras,homeand
industrialappliancesmonitorandcontrol,automatic
energymeterreadings,etc.
