providedbytheBaseStation.
TheTransponder/TransmittercombinestheconvenienceofanRFtransmitter
withthesecurityofatransponder.Typically,theRFtransmitterwillbeusedas
aconvenienceitem:i.e.,unlockingthecardoorastheownerapproachesthe
vehicle.Onceinthecar,acoilaroundtheignitionelectronicallyvalidatesthe
keyanddisarmstheimmobilizer.Thisiscompletelytransparenttothe
