This article provides tips and techniques for customizing the user interface (UI) in a LabVIEW application. LabVIEW offers a built-in library of controls and indicators, including contextual devices such as knobs, dials, switches, and instruments like gauges and thermometers. While these built-in controls and indicators are helpful, sometimes you may want to add your own personal style to them. I came across a YouTube video series that covers the information I learned at a seminar, and in this blog post, I will introduce some basic themes that can help you design your own UI. For each tip, I also provide a link to the video that offers step-by-step instructions. These techniques can assist you in creating visually appealing UIs for your LabVIEW applications.
