E-commerce, as a business transaction model, leverages efficient electronic communication to facilitate trade activities over the Internet. As the Internet evolves and societal norms shift, this innovative business model becomes an integral part of people's lives. Corporate portals empower individuals to effortlessly search for desired items without stepping outside. By exploring diverse virtual malls, customers can pinpoint the best value-for-money products, providing them with extensive choice flexibility. Placing orders enables customers to swiftly acquire their desired items, leading to substantial time and effort savings. For manufacturers, this translates into significantly reduced inventory risks, allowing on-demand procurement and production tailored to customer needs, thereby boosting overall efficiency. This graduation project aims to design and implement a web-based online transaction system, with a focus on utilizing J2EE as the development foundation.
